Sriyani discovered theatre the way many good adventures begin: by saying "why not?" to a Meisner-based acting workshop at KLPAC. The experience eventually led to her theatre debut in The Actors Studio's Bollywood Dreams (2021).
She previously trained in Odissi, an Indian classical dance form, at the Temple of Fine Arts in Brickfields, Malaysia, where she performed in various student showcases.
Having grown up watching musicals (cue Eliza Doolittle), Sriyani has always believed life makes more sense when someone is singing about it. In 2025, she joined Monday Show School to explore storytelling through acting, music and dance.
By day, Sriyani works in marketing and communications. By night, she sings show tunes, learns choreography and remains surprisingly committed to characters with questionable life choices.
