RYAN YAP is a Malaysian actor with a diverse performance background spanning screen, commercial work, and immersive theatre. He began his creative journey in fashion design, earning a diploma and working in the fashion industry in Singapore and Malaysia. While the experience sharpened his aesthetic sensibility and discipline, the corporate structure ultimately led him to seek a more expressive and human-centered craft, acting.

Ryan has since built a varied acting portfolio, appearing in commercials, online digital content, speaking roles in series, and immersive horror theatre. He has been a core performer at Hauntu for over four years, where he has portrayed every character within the experience an intense, physically and emotionally demanding environment that requires adaptability, stamina, and strong audience engagement. This work has deeply shaped his ability to remain present, responsive, and grounded in live performance.
