Joshua Fidelis

Joshua is a singer, actor, and lover of the performing arts. Despite having studied civil engineering at the University of California, Los Angeles, Joshua satisfied his thirst for performance by joining the UCLA Chorale and UCLA Chamber Singers as well as by being a member of UCLA’s premier collegiate dance team, ACA.

Aside from taking some theatre classes as electives, Joshua’s contributions to theatre at UCLA were largely through the UCLA Malaysian Students’ Association’s annual Malaysian-Singaporean Culture Night. Joshua started out as the Male Lead during his freshman year, before becoming the scriptwriter and finally one of the co-directors during his sophomore and junior years respectively.

Now having returned to Malaysia after briefly pursuing a career as a structural engineer in New York, Joshua hopes to once again return to the stage and share his talents with audiences as well as the Malaysian theatre community at large.
