✨ 演出简介

为欢庆吉隆坡南益校友会华乐团成立55周年，我们隆重呈献《辉煌55》音乐会，向两位香港流行音乐史上最具影响力的作曲大师 —— 顾嘉煇 与 黄霑 深情致敬。他们在1970至1990年代为无数电视剧与电影创作经典金曲，奠定粤语流行乐的黄金时代。

🎼 顾嘉煇 被誉为「粤语流行音乐教父」，代表作包括《上海滩》《狮子山下》《万水千山总是情》等，至今仍令人动容。

🖋️ 黄霑 则以词入心、以情动人，其作品《沧海一声笑》《当年情》《倩女幽魂》等，早已成为几代人共同的音乐记忆。

此100分钟* 音乐会由特邀女高音 Evelyn杜君宁 与男中音 James 龙纪翰 领衔献唱，配合著名主持人Sean 李子昭 导赏 ，由 55人编制的 吉隆坡南益校友会华乐团 现场演奏。整场演出结合独唱、重唱、LED视觉与交响式编排，高水准的半音乐剧式演出，重现黄金年代的音乐魅力！

✨ About the Concert

Step into a world of unforgettable melodies and timeless memories.

In celebration of its remarkable 55th anniversary, the Lee Rubber Chinese Orchestra (LRCO) proudly presentsGlorious 55 —  a grand musical celebration paying tribute to two towering figures in Chinese music history: Joseph Koo and James Wong. These Hong Kong music legends shaped the golden age of 1970s–90s Cantopop through iconic TV and film  soundtracks that have become cultural treasures.

🎼  Joseph Koo, often hailed as the Godfather of Cantopop, was a pioneering composer who crafted over a thousand songs throughout his career. His masterpieces like The Bund,  Below the Lion Rock, and The Heaven Sword and Dragon Sabre blended Chinese melodies with Western orchestration, creating a distinct sound that shaped Hong Kong’s golden era of television and film. His music continues to resonate with generations across the Chinese-speaking world.

🖋️ James Wong, a gifted lyricist, gave voice to the people through poetic and thought-provoking lyrics, infused his songs with deep emotion and social insight, crafting unforgettable songs such as Laughing Across the Boundless Sea; In Those Years, That Love; and A Chinese Ghost Story. — timeless works that continue to resonate today.

✨ This 100-minute* semi-musical production blends nostalgic melodies with dynamic performance, featuring renowned soprano Evelyn Toh, baritone James Long, and narrator Sean Lee, accompanied by LRCO’s full 55-piece Chinese orchestra. Through live vocals, Chinese orchestral arrangements, LED visuals, and timeless music, Glorious 55 promises a rich and heartfelt journey across generations.
