About
From Kitchen Scraps to Living Soil
Composting is often seen as a small, personal act—but in reality, it sits at the heart of how communities can rethink waste, food, and soil.
In this session, we open up the composting journey from home-scale practices to community-level systems, showing how everyday food waste can be transformed into a valuable resource.
Led by FOLO’s farm team, this is not a sit-and-listen workshop. It’s a walk-through, hands-on observation experience, where participants move through different composting setups and see how each method works in real conditions.
Duration: Approx. 90 minutes
Session Format:
Demo + walkabout (guided exploration)
